State promises to monitor air quality downwind of Cricket Valley

CORNWALL — The Democratic Coalition of Northwest Connecticut hosted a talk on Monday, July 8, about concerns that the new Cricket Valley energy plant in Dover, N.Y., will pollute air in the nearby Connecticut towns. 

A focus of the talk was how the state General Assembly’s recent passage of Senate Bill 585 can help protect the air quality in the Tri-state region.
