Town Board discusses disappearing barn and more

WASHINGTON — On Thursday, June 13, the Washington Town Board met to discuss a variety of topics.

Highway Superintendent Joe Spagnola sent in a report, mentioning that the culvert on South Road had overflowed and was temporarily fixed. He’s in talks with the county about a permanent repair. He also listed other work that had been done by the Highway Department, and noted a number of repairs are ongoing. Town Clerk Mary Alex, meanwhile, was authorized to seek bond bids for the work for the culvert project, for a 10-year bond.
