Sheep, dogs and a farm

MILLERTON — Caora Farm had the ideal weekend to host the annual Sheep Dog Trials on Saturday, June 22, through Sunday, June 23. Apart from the barks of dogs and the bleats of sheep, the Millerton farm was peaceful and picturesque with a good crowd of people from across the country — and their dogs — in attendance.

On command, the dogs dashed up the hill and trailed the flock of sheep they had to direct down the hill, listening to the high-pitched whistle that told them when they were off their mark.
