KENT — Last week was a tense one in Kent, with anxiety about a beloved local resident who was deported following an arrest by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and a talk given Saturday at the town-owned Community House by Scott Presler, a Republican activist (see stories, Page A1).
