Volunteers needed to spruce up Rail Trail

Dozens of teen and pre-teen volunteers have been sprucing up the Harlem Valley Rail Trail, trimming intrusive branches, clearing brush and preparing a welcoming path for the hundreds who enjoy the trail. MILLERTON -— Spending a sunny day walking or bicycling on the Harlem Valley Rail Trail can be a great way to pass the time, but sometimes Mother Nature needs a little hand for the adventure to go well. 

Fortunately, a number of good Samaritans — more of whom will be needed on April 13 — have already begun the work that will ensure the experience is the best that it can be.
