Education spending will dip in Sharon

SHARON — The Sharon Board of Education spending plan for the coming year shows a slight decrease from this year’s budget. The board voted at its meeting on Monday, March 11, to submit the proposed budget to the Board of Finance for review. 

The proposed education budget for Sharon shows total expenditures of $4,258,983, down from the current year’s budget of $4,259,472. The reduction amounts to $489.
