‘Guys and Dolls’ dance onto the stage

WEBUTUCK — The members of the Webutuck Drama Society will be singing and dancing their way back in time as the 1950s musical, ”Guys and Dolls,” comes to life at the Webutuck High School on Friday and Saturday, March 15 and 16, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 17, at 2 p.m..

Director Joshua Stone said that the classic from the Golden Age of musicals presented some challenges for actors who hadn’t before heard the “foreign” language of Damon Runyon’s gangsters, bookies and gamblers of the 1920s and ‘30s.
