Olympic gold medalist visits Curling Club

NORFOLK — Olympic gold medalist Tyler George visited the Norfolk Curling Club last week, reigniting the excitement that was felt when the U.S. men’s curling team won America’s first gold medal in curling during the Olympics in South Korea in February 2018.

Norfolk Curling Club ice technician Jonathan Barbagallo said he has fond memories of watching Team USA defeat Team Sweden for the gold medal last year with other Norfolk club members.
