The Lakeville Journal congratulates the honorees of the student of the week program at Housatonic Valley Regional High School. 

FALLS VILLAGE — Although most of our students hail from families with deep roots in the area, the “gig” economy has brought some new students to the area with interesting talents and backgrounds. 

Brynn Scharte, a senior from Salisbury, came here this year from Fort Collins, Colo., where she lived for about seven years after leaving the Cleveland, Ohio, area.
