If you make a makerspace, they will come

NORFOLK — The Rev. Erick Olsen, pastor of the Church of Christ Congregational Norfolk, wondered what would happen if he hosted a makerspace event at the new Norfolk Hub, a communal workspace in the center of town. 

Makerspaces are being opened all over the country. The closest one to the Northwest Corner is Make Hartford.

He hosted a pop-up makerspace on Saturday, Jan. 26, and about 50 people turned up. The response was strong enough that he thinks there will be a second one soon.
