Lime Rock Park issue goes to state Supreme Court

LIME ROCK — Multiple lawsuits over the operations of Lime Rock Park race track are heading to the state Supreme Court.

The initial submissions to the court are due on Feb. 22.

All the parties involved —Lime Rock Park, the Salisbury Planning and Zoning Commission, and the Lime Rock Citizens Council — asked for the state Supreme Court’s involvement.

The major issue is racing on Sunday afternoons. The injunction that currently governs the track’s activities prohibits Sunday racing.
