Craig Dwight Ford

NORTH CANAAN — Craig Dwight Ford died peacefully at home on Sept. 16, 2018.  

Craig was born in North Canaan on April 9, 1945, to Barbara (Osborne) Ford Gailes and Kenneth C. Ford. He lived through high school in Clayton, Mass., North Canaan and Madison, Conn.  

He was predeceased by his parents; his stepfather, Thomas Gailes; and his younger sister, Cheryl Ford.  

He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Pat (Trefny) Ford; his son, Ian Ford; his daughter, Jessica (Ford) Hofman Kyle; four grandsons, Damian and Noah Ford and Carter and Kaden Hofman; his sisters, Donna Carlson and Leigh Candelent; and his brothers, Tom Gailes and his wife, Wendy, Gary Gailes and his wife, Marty, and Rob Gailes and his wife, Nancy; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

There will be no funeral service, but a Celebration of Life will be held on Oct. 21 in Edmonds, Wash.
