Vast mast lets small animals go nuts

There is an abundance this year of wild turkeys and squirrels, both of which are crossing local roads with frequency. The turkeys seem to have more street savvy than the squirrels; drivers are reminded to be cautious about the wild lives at risk at this time of year. 

Our nature experts agree that the large number of small animals is part of nature’s cycle of abundance.
