Four-alarm fire in Dover, smaller fire in Amenia

DOVER PLAINS— The J.H. Ketcham Fire Company collaborated with other officials in an effort to extinguish a four-alarm fire that broke out on Route 22 in Dover Plains on Friday, Aug. 17.

According to Trooper A.J. Hicks from the New York State Police, the call came in at 10:02 a.m. on Friday. 

A total of 20 fire departments responded to the scene, including firefighters from Dutchess and Putnam Counties in New York and Litchfield and Fairfield Counties in Connecticut.
