Schliff shares her story of brain injury and aftermath


PINE PLAINS— As a former special education teacher in the Pine Plains Central School District, Janet Johnson Schliff understands the gravity of storytelling and taking the time to remember the small joys in life. When those abilities began to fade without medical explanation, Schliff found herself in a struggle: She suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder behaviors that wreaked havoc on her professional and personal life.
