Village Board talks water project and tree replacement


MILLBROOK — Tuesday night, May 22, was a busy night for the Village Board. Resolutions were made and accepted, allowing for reserve funds for a police vehicle, an ambulance and a Highway Department truck.

A resolution was made naming the village as lead agency in applying for a grant for the water treatment plan and water tower restoration projects. Bill Bright, of Delaware Engineering, provided the application for the grant. Estimated to cost $1.5 million for the water treatment plant and tower restoration, a bond must be applied for in order to apply for the grant.
