SHARON — To learn more about Harold Ross and the profoundly human story of how The New Yorker magazine came about, come to The Hotchkiss Library of Sharon on Sunday, June 10, at 4 p.m.

Cornwall resident Adam Van Doren will screen his new work, “Top Hat and Tales: Harold Ross and the Making of The New Yorker.” He will offer glimpses into the making of this documentary and how it evolved, including the difficulty of finding images of his extremely private subject.
