Remembering Millbrook’s fallen heroes on Memorial Day

MILLBROOK — On Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, Millbrook residents and visitors gathered together to honor those who died in the line of duty while defending this nation.

Members of VFW Post 9008, the American Legion and both the Millbrook and Unionvale Fire Departments, along with Troop 31 Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts  and several other small groups marched down Franklin Avenue. Assorted jeeps and military vehicles helped to make the parade exciting and, for some, nostalgic.
