NORTH CANAAN — Caddie Shack is now open for the season and serving up the signature tastes of summer: hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream cones and shakes and an array of more exotic treats.

The shack on Route 7 near the Massachusetts state line is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Memorial Day weekend, when the summer hours begin (11 a.m. to 9 p.m.). Work up an appetite on the mini golf range or batting cage on the premises.
