Former Super Saver IGA to be a medical clinic

WINSTED — The Community Health and Wellness Center of Greater Torrington (CHWC) announced the purchase of the Winsted Super Saver IGA building on Monday, March 26.

CHWC is a non-profit organization that offers medical care to residents all throughout the Northwest Corner regardless of their ability to pay, including a sliding fee scale payment plan for patients in financial need.

Located in Torrington, CHWC opened a second location in 2011 as the Winsted Health Center on Spenser Street
