Truck accident closes Norfolk

NORFOLK — No injuries were reported in a flatbed tractor-trailer truck accident during the snowstorm on Wednesday, March 7, on Route 44 in Norfolk.

According to a police report from the State Police at Troop B, Ericson Pubien, 25, of Miami Beach, Fla., was driving westbound on Route 44 near Tim O’Connor Road. He was driving a 2017 Volvo vehicle registered to Melton Truck Lines of Oklahoma.

While negotiating a slight curve to the left on a slippery stretch of road, the truck slid into the wire rope guardrails.
