Protesters gather against Cricket Valley Energy

DOVER PLAINS — Standing at the intersection of Route 22 and Mill Street, Dutchess County Legislator and Democratic state senate candidate Joel Tyner led a small group of protesters against the construction of the Cricket Valley power plant on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

“I don’t think the people of Dover and Dutchess County have been fully informed about the waste about to be dumped on them,” Tyner said.
