Martinez will leave HVRHS at end of year

FALLS VILLAGE — Jose Martinez, principal of Housatonic Valley Regional High School (HVRHS), will be leaving the school as of June 30, 2018, the end of the school year.

Martinez made his announcement at a special meeting of the Region One Board of Education on Thursday, Feb. 22.

Martinez is in his fourth year at HVRHS.

He told the board he will focus on the school’s accreditation process this spring.
