SALISBURY — The Salisbury Winter Sports Association’s annual Jumpfest weekend set attendance records, even with one full day of jumping canceled due to rain.
According to Willie Hallihan, the paid attendance on Friday night, Feb. 9, for target jumping and the Human Dogsled Race, was more than 300 people.
And on Saturday, with the air temperature around 40 degrees and a looming threat of rain, the event set what Hallihan believes is “a modern-day attendance record,” with a paid attendance of just under 1,400.
