HARLEM VALLEY — Another year has come and gone, and from the ordinary to the extraordinary, The Millerton News has been there to record and report news from the region. With all the possibilities for 2018 on the horizon, now seems the ideal time to reflect on top stories from 2017.


Early winter, 2017, a series of anti-Semitic posters was found on local telephone poles and at businesses throughout the region. Calls to quell hate crime in the region resounded.
