Town meeting will decide on LHK funds

FALLS VILLAGE — At the regular monthly meeting on Monday, Dec.11, the Falls Village Board of Finance agreed to ask a town meeting to approve a supplemental appropriation for the replacement of the elementary school’s phone system.

School board Chairman Pat Mechare and Lee H. Kellogg School Principal Lexy Juch explained that after Thanksgiving the 20-year-old phone system at Kellogg began to fail. Voice mail functions did not work, for instance, so when staff members were busy phone calls went unanswered.
