Silent auction creates holiday excitement at the library

MILLBROOK— The Silent Auction closing party at the Millbrook Library took place on Saturday, Dec. 16. 

The bidding went on right up until 4 p.m., when all bids stopped and the tallying began. 

This is the first year that the auction was handled by the Friends of the Library, and it seems to have been success. The Friends were pleased by the amount and diversity of the prizes donated, by both local businesses and others from further away.
