Lady Bombers score two wins, field a loss


PINE PLAINS— After starting the season off on a tough stretch, the Pine Plains varsity girls basketball team regained its momentum on the court by defeating Rhinebeck High School, 48-29, on Tuesday, Dec. 12.

This season, spectators can expect to see a handful of young players competing on the varsity girls basketball team, including eighth-graders Lily Brenner and Emily Torre, sophomore Jaylen Beliveau and junior Haley Strang, who has been described as “the heart and soul of the team” by Coach Craig Brodhead.
