Millbrook preschool: Shaded playground improvements sought

MILLBROOK — At the Tuesday, Nov. 28, Village Board meeting, Mayor Rodney Brown was absent; Deputy Mayor Joseph Rochfort led the meeting.

The largest portion of the meeting was dedicated to the Millbrook Early Childhood Education Centre (MECEC), which is housed in Lyall Memorial Church.

It serves as the village pre-school, serving 66 students each year. It opened in 2007.

The center also employs 12 people and is the largest non-faith based public preschool in the area.
