Millerton Police: New SUV and computers put department on track


MILLERTON — Chasing down the bad guys and protecting the good guys just got a little easier for the Millerton Police Department, thanks to a newly-purchased police vehicle. According to Officer-in-Charge David Rudin, the SUV will help make the department’s job a little easier.

“It’s wonderful,” he said. “It’s got a lot of today’s technology in it.”

And it’s sleek, said Rudin, who added that he’d drive it as a personal car — no less as a police vehicle.
