How the Grinch tried to steal Christmas

MILLBROOK — Christmas cheer was in the air on Friday, Dec. 1. It was a little bit nippy, but dry. Trees were lit, wreaths were hung, and hordes of people, all ages, all sizes, filled both sides of Franklin Avenue.

Some visitors stopped first at the Millbrook Library, where the Silent Auction began with light refreshments, music and a viewing of the gaily-wrapped baskets and gifts on auction. The auction closes Saturday, Dec. 16, at 4 p.m. and the winners may begin to pick up their items at 5 p.m.
