Yule festivities roll into town

KENT — The holiday season arrived in Kent on Sunday evening, Dec. 3, delivered by four wheels — actually, more like 104 wheels, counting all the festively decorated trucks, ATVs and assorted other vehicles. 

The celebration began outside Town Hall with the Kent School chorale group singing (what else?) Christmas carols and holiday songs. 

A nice large crowd, suitably bundled up for the 30 degree chill, welcomed First Selectman Bruce Adams who, with Santa’s help, lit the town tree.
