Decorating Day and parade light up town

PINE PLAINS — Bells were ringing and people were smiling Saturday, Nov. 25, as residents of Pine Plains joined together to usher in the holiday season with the town’s 32nd annual Decorating Day and Parade of Lights.

Along Church Street to the Pine Plains Platter and beyond, local businesses were garnished for the occasion with strings of lights and holiday ornaments. Not only did the celebration capture the attention of town residents, it also drew visitors from around the region.
