Here comes Santa Claus … never mind how early

NORTH CANAAN —It isn’t just a feeling; the holiday season actually is barreling down on us more quickly this year, thanks to an earlier-than-usual Thanksgiving. For most of us, that just means a bit more of a rush to order a turkey. But for the North Canaan town crew, it meant getting an early start on putting up holiday lights and displays.
