A special swim for Special Olympics team

LAKEVILLE — The Northwest Connecticut Special Olympics swim team made its annual visit to The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville on Sunday, Nov. 5, for the 23rd swim-a-thon fundraiser there. 

Hotchkiss teacher and swim coach Keith Moon organized the event, as he has done for more than two decades. 

“We had a record-setting day with 235 swimmers, which handily broke last year’s previous record of 217,” Moon said.
