Stissing Mountain suffers big loss against John S. Burke Catholic in championship


PINE PLAINS — With a record of five wins and four losses, the Stissing Mountain High School varsity football team closed the season with a loss against John S. Burke Catholic High School on Saturday, Oct. 28.

Beginning at 11 a.m., the Section 9 Class C Championship game kicked off at the Faller Field Complex, at Middletown High School in Orange County.
