Things heat up at 14th Annual Chicken Cook Off

MILLERTON — Saturday, Oct. 28, the American Legion Post 178 in Millerton hosted its 14th annual Chicken Cook Off to benefit the Sunday in the Country Food Drive. From 2 to 4 p.m., chicken dinners were available for pick-up at $10 per dinner, raising an estimated $1,800. James Parks, Stephen Lynehan, McEnroe Organics and the Ancram Fire Company were credited for donating the event’s chicken while the American Legion was generous in donating its facilities.
