I have been a fan of “Weird Al” Yankovic’s brand of humorous songs since I was 13 years old — way back in 1996 — when I picked up his ninth studio album, “Bad Hair Day.” I listened to that CD on endless repeat, memorizing the words to parodies like “Amish Paradise” (based on Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise”) and “Gump” (a mashup of the film “Forrest Gump” and the song “Lump” by The Presidents of the United States of America.”)
