Salisbury Planning & Zoning gives green light: Transfer station for 2018

SALISBURY — After years of planning, discussions, research — and, above all, meetings — the new Salisbury-Sharon Transfer Station will be built in 2018.

The last hurdle was cleared Wednesday evening, Sept. 27, when the Salisbury Planning and Zoning Commission approved the special permit for the new facility at 410 Millerton Road.
