Open Days Program Garden Tour & Family Time Storytelling and Scavenger Hunt

Explore four gardens in Clinton Corners, Millbrook, and Stanfordville, open for self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy and Innisfree Garden. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. most locations. Highlights include rigid geometry contrasting with organic sweeps of plants, acres of dahlias on a flower farm, impressive trees such as a 350-year old sycamore and unusual Dawn redwoods, pokeweeds trained into standard forms, many native cultivars, garden sculpture, Asian-inspired garden vignettes, and water features. Family Time events will take place at Innisfree Garden at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.: Storytelling and an Imaginative Garden Scavenger Hunt with Lorraine Hartin-Gelardi. No reservations required; rain or shine. Admission is $7 per private garden; $8 at Innisfree Garden.
