Jean Stapf appointed to vacant BOE seat

PINE PLAINS — Jean Stapf has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the Pine Plains Board of Education (BOE).

Even when her work schedule kept her from attending the meetings, Stapf has kept up with the latest news from the board through the meeting agendas and minutes posted on the Pine Plains Central School District website. A resident of the area for nine years, she praised the district’s diverse educational opportunities and its qualified teachers and staff members.
