Diamond wins Best Udder, Best in Show at 4-H Fair

Well before the cloud-covered sky began to clear on the early morning of Saturday, July 29, the sounds of fair preparations could be heard at the Goshen Fairgrounds. Litchfield County 4-H Club members of all ages were there readying themselves and their animals for a busy day of showmanship and other competitions.

The Litchfield County 4-H Fair has been a highlight of the Northwest Corner summer season for 85 years. Generations of young farmers have come to show off their dairy and beef animals, pigs, poultry and more.
