Spring sports season a washout so far

WINSTED — Though April showers ostensibly will result in May flowers, there is one thing they are not allowing to happen.


Both The Gilbert School and Northwestern Regional High School were forced to reschedule games this week due to inclement weather, and spring sports around the Northwest Corner have been hard-pressed to get teams out on the field, dating back to the the vestiges of a cold and snowy March.
