Four hurt in Norfolk car accident

NORFOLK — Four people were reported to be seriously injured in a head-on car accident on Sunday, April 9.

According to an accident information summary issued by State Police Sgt. Bryan Ferrucci, the accident took place at approximately 2:36 p.m. at the intersection of Greenwoods Road and Ashpohtag Road.

According to Ferrucci, Plymouth resident Mary Grendziszewski, 62, was driving her 2011 Nissan Rogue S west on Route 44.

Grendziszewski’s passenger was Terryville resident Sherri Martnick, 55.
