In the end, a 1.83% rise for Region One

FALLS VILLAGE — After a public hearing Thursday, April 6, the Region One Board of Education voted to send a $15,777,308 spending plan for 2017-18 to a referendum vote on Tuesday, May 2.

The budget plan’s increase is 1.83 percent, which is down $87,611 from a version that was voted on earlier in the week at the board’s regular monthly meeting on April 3. The percentage increase of the April 3 version was 2.39 percent.
