Second public hearing for medical clinic on Monday

WINSTED —  The second part of a public hearing on a special permit application to convert the Winsted Super Saver IGA into a medical clinic for Community Health and Wellness of Greater Torrington is scheduled for Monday, April 10, at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

If the move is approved by the commission, the last grocery store located on Main Street in downtown Winsted will close.

The store at 372 Main St. has been owned since August 1981 by John Dwan.
