Stissing Mountain varsity girls basketball season ends with loss, 47-41

The Pine Plains Lady Bombers’ winning streak ended at the Section IX Class C championship final on Tuesday, March 7. The Stissing Mountain girls varsity basketball team did have its share of success this year, however. The team won its third straight Section IX title, but eventually lost the game against Haldane, the Section I Class C champions. PINE PLAINS — After a series of outstanding triumphs on the court this season, the Pine Plains Varsity Girls Basketball team was disappointed by the results of its recent regional semifinal game at SUNY New Paltz. It was a close game, with a final score of 47-41.

The Lady Bombers competed against the Haldane Blue Devils on Tuesday, March 7, following their victory in the Section IX Class C Championship.
