State reps express doubt about budget

WINSTED —  Several state representatives attended Northwestern Connecticut Community College’s (NCCC) legislative breakfast on Friday, March 3.

The main topic of discussion during the breakfast was Gov. Dannel P. Malloy’s (D) proposed biennial budget.

For fiscal year 2017–2018, Malloy is recommending $20.097 billion in expenditures for the state, while for fiscal year 2018–2019, he recommends $20.545 billion in expenditures.
