Walk this way in search of tracks

The Kent Land Trust hosted a Winter Tracking Hike on Monday, Feb. 20, part of the Presidents Day weekend. 

There was still enough snow on the ground that the hikers could find traces of animals that had recently passed through the area.

“We hiked around the lake and into the center of the East Kent Hamlet Nature Preserve, and down through its meadow, which is a ‘superhighway’ for many species,” reported Connie Manes.
