Webutuck students jump to get heart healthy

WEBUTUCK — In celebration of Healthy Heart Month, Webutuck students in grades three through eight came together on Thursday, Feb. 23, to promote the importance of maintaining healthy hearts through nutrition and exercise.

Organized by the Eugene Brooks Intermediate School (EBIS) Physical Education Department, through the American Heart Association, the fourth annual Jump Rope For Heart fundraiser ran from 7:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. in the EBIS gymnasium.
